in the last two weeks i have
~returned to my beloved boston. i am once again independently living, partial shoulder replacement and everything.
~found a new apartment in my beloved boston that is GORGEOUS and i love love love it a million times. it's a loft but i still have a separate bedroom and an office with doors so i can close off my perpetually messy desk, a kitchen with COUNTERS (very important as for the last two years i have been living with a galley kitchen with no no no counterspace) and i can get a cat!
~applied to design school with crossed fingers, toes and other crossable body parts. i am praying i am accepted for this fall.
~started the process of becoming a girl scout troop leader with my friend. we want girls between 11 and 17--you know, those years when everything can seem horrible. let me just say, they give you you a lot of paperwork when you go to the girl scout office and make leading a troop seem very overwhelming. and kind of scary.
~realized that eating cinammon babka for breakfast every morning while at home recovering from partial ahoulder replacement surgery makes you gain weight.
